Strike while the iron is hot. Hackers are also doing the same. Yesterday the most searched term in Google was "Bom Sabado". Now the Google search results are poisoned by some hackers and they managed to get top position in Google search for the term ” Bom Domingo” (Good Sunday in Portuguese). Hackers know today many people will search about Bom Domingo. We have already discussed about the emerging threat of fake antivirus software. Similar attacks were happened during the FIFA world cup 2010.

Once you click in these search results, you will be directed to hacker's site and a fake antivirus scan page will appear. Then it will warn you that your computer has been infected with Trojans and Worms. To fix the problem they will offer software to download. This software itself will be a virus.

If you clicked accidentally in these links, immediately close the browser, don't click yes/no/ cancel buttons in the popup window. If the browser is not getting closed, use the task manager (ctrl +Alt+Del) to close. When you open the browser again, the tabs may be restored, in that case immediately close it further.

If you know about the link submit the same to Google Report a Malware page. Good antivirus software normally detects these types of Java script attacks but the free antivirus software are not offering the safe browsing facility. Java script disabled browsing is the best method to stay away from these type of attack. Bom Sabado Virus !- Orkut profiles hacked

Today most of the Orkut accounts have been attacked by a malware Bom Sabado. In Portugese language "Bom Sabado" means "Good Saturday". The malware sends Bom Sabado messages to all contacts automatically and propagate through accounts. Moreover it will update your status with a Brazilian flag and joining some Brazilian porn communities automatically.

Orkut is mainly popular in India and Brazil only. The Google support forum is flooded with complaints and Google has not yet officially reacted one this issue. Till the bug is completely removed, it is better to stay away from Orkut. In these situations only some general security measures are suggested. These include signing out from all Google accounts, clearing browser cache and cookies. Changing passwords, Disable Java Script etc.

Modus operandi of this virus is cookie stealing. Means the scraps are embedded with a Java script which steal the encoded password in your browser cookies. With this information it will enter into your account and start sending scraps, updating profiles, joining communities etc.

Apple to Unveil Wireless Printing Technology This November

HP and Apple are working hand on hand in this project as both will be mutually benefitted. HP executive vice president,Imaging and Printing Group, Vyomesh Joshi, said in an interview,

We're pleased to work with Apple to bring Apple's AirPrint to our fall lineup of ePrint printers in time for the holiday shopping season, Making it easy for our customers to print anytime, anywhere, is a key priority for HP. iPad, iPhone and iPod touch customers are going to love how easy it is to print using our new range of ePrint printers, creating high-quality printed pages in an instant.

In recent times Apple has been facing lot of arguments and criticisms and Steve Jobs addressed this first and foremostly by declaring that Apple is not perfect. The iPhone has been facing signal transmission issues while the iPad faced pressure when people claimed that it lacked proper port support for the printing devices. Apple’s take on this complaint resulted in the announcement to unleash the update that will facilitate its users to print without wires. Now that’s a pretty nice way to handle the mob. If you have deep pockets and are looking to blow some money, this might satisfy your craving to spend. For the rest of us, and i think i speak for us, it’s an amazing waist of money. Especially considering that an iPad application isn’t available with this bed!
